We wanted to take family photos with our 9 month old baby, but we don't speak Japanese very well, so we really appreciated that Sayaka worked with us in English! Before the photo session, we discussed various locations given the type of background I was looking for, as well as what to do in case of rain--and it did end up raining that day! The location she recommended worked out well with the rain because it had a wide roof, so we were still able to take photos outdoors with the scenery when it started to rain. We are not used to working with professional photographers, but Sayaka was very warm, welcoming, and easy to work with. She answered my many questions before the photo session and even before I made the reservation. We appreciated her creativity with the weather and with finding spaces away from the crowds to take photos, as well as working with what our son is able to do (he can crawl and hold onto things to stand, but isn't walking yet). She took lovely photos and I am grateful that she helped us capture this point in time for our family! Would definitely recommend working with Sayaka, especially if you have children and/or you're looking for an English speaking photographer.
